The Eye of The Storm

There seems to be a whole lot going on in the world right now. Well, there's always a lot going on, but for the past few weeks it's been especially intense. I've noticed it, and almost everyone around me is noticing it as well.

I'm no astrologer but I do know and feel the effects of the energies that are being given to this planet right now by other celestial bodies in this solar system. Mercury has just come out of retrograde and we are still in a shadow period. This means that the energy of the retrograde is still in the process of dissipating. There is also an eclipse coming up soon, which means that energy is being directly projected onto this planet through certain alignments.

To some, this may sound like some crazy spiritual stuff. And it is. It is also factual and scientific. This reality that we live in is far more bizarre than what meets the eye. Therefore, I encourage you to keep an open mind and seek truth in everything you do.

Now, getting back to the main topic, I'm no astrologer but I do feel a lot of different energies hitting the planet right now. It seems that many people are having health scares, some are awakening years of suppressed trauma, many people are passing away, and some people are rediscovering themselves.

Personally, I've had loved ones in the hospital, one of them may be transitioning soon, another loved one has had a health scare, and I'm experiencing a rediscovery of myself while also rethinking my entire life. It feels like a hurricane is passing through and if you're not prepared then you very well may be blown away. It may not seem like there are any safe places to ride out the storm, but there is. Only one reliable place exists. And that place is within yourself.

If you are not someone who has done much inner work, then going within yourself may feel scary and unsafe. But no matter how uncomfortable you are within yourself, you must embrace it. Because no matter what, you are always safe within yourself. The only enemy that exists within you, is you. You create your reality, therefore, you can be your worst enemy or your best friend.

Whenever we experience chaotic times like these, choosing to be your own best friend is the absolute best thing you can do for yourself. Choosing to love yourself in this way sets the tone for the real work that lays ahead. And you know what else? We set the tone for this reality that we're living in. You see, reality responds to us. Being the creator of your reality isn't just a mantra. It's a fact. We shape our reality with our intentions and our decisions. How we feel and how we react are key contributors to how we experience life. Therefore, these intense energies that we're feeling are only highlighting what is already within us.

We are meant to work with these intense energies, not run or hide from them. They are here to help us, and the more that we try to fight or run, the more we hurt ourselves. We may not be the cause of all of our suffering. But we for sure are the reason why it persists. I Am here to tell you to let go of everything. Let go... Let go of the suffering. Let go of regrets. Let go of anger. Let go of fear. Let go and go within yourself. It may take some work to let go of what you feel and what you believe. But by choosing to do the work, you are actively choosing to create a better and more enjoyable reality for yourself and those around you.

I want you to start looking at life with this perspective: "everything is happening for me. There is no bad or good. There is only acceptance, understanding, and growth in love."

If we start living with the mentality of "life is happening for me as a result of me", then we instantly take ourselves out of being victims. Instead, we become the victors. Not because we overcome and dominate. We are the victors because we overcome and grow with love.

This storm that we're in is far from over. And they say that the calmest place to be during a major storm is right in the eye of it. The entire storm is happening all around the eye, but it is calm and mellow right in the center. I see this as a metaphor for life. When everything seems to be wild and chaotic in our lives, it is easy to get swept up in what's going on around us and lose sense of self. However, by going within and finding our center, we are able to see and handle everything that's going on from a calm and loving state of being. This is the challenge. This is the practice.

The challenge is the maintain balance, stay centered, and handle everything with unconditional love. This takes practice and may be very difficult to master. But it is possible. And remember this, even the master is continually challenged. What makes the master a master, is their ability to continually overcome the challenge with love and gratitude."

So become the master and take on these intense challenges with love and gratitude. Every test is a blessing because they are opportunities to grow and improve oneself.

Embrace the journey of becoming a master of self. Stay grateful for how much your life improves as a result. Meditate daily and befriend all aspects of yourself as you uncover your shadows. Your shadows are aspects of yourself that you neglect, suppress, and/or try to hide from others. This may be conscious or subconscious, but we all have shadows. And all our shadows really want is to be acknowledged and loved by us. This will be a whole other post on shadow work, but it is relevant and necessary to mention now.

As you can see, there are many layers and many aspects to going within and learning from these intense energies. But for now, I will let these words be a guide for those who seek their higher self.

May we all achieve and embody our highest & most divine self.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for showing up for yourself.

Much love to you.

Yesira.
